Copper & craft from the Himalaya
Pure-copper drinkware in our own designs, and meditation goods sourced direct from the workshops that make them. Made, checked and exported from Dharamkot for yoga and meditation shops abroad.
What we do
One partner on the ground, three ways to work
We are a small export house, not a marketplace. Shops work with us directly, and every order goes through our hands before it leaves India.
Our own copperware
Pure-copper bottles and cups in three designs: Flower of Life, Diamond and Ornament. Custom engraving and private label on request.
Sourcing for shops
Singing bowls, tingsha, malas and other meditation goods, bought directly from the workshops in India and Nepal.
On-the-ground support
Finding and vetting suppliers, coordinating samples, inspecting quality in person, and preparing the export documents.
Signature collection
Ayurveda copperware
Each cup design matches a bottle design, so shops can sell them as a set. In Ayurveda, water kept overnight in a copper vessel is traditionally drunk the next morning.

The tradition
In Ayurveda, water kept overnight in a copper vessel is used to balance the three doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Use
- Still, cold water only
- Hand wash only, not dishwasher-safe
- Dry well after washing
Care
Copper darkens naturally over time, and this patina is harmless. To bring back the shine, rub with lemon and a pinch of salt, then rinse and dry.
Copper Stem water enhancer
A small solid-copper stem, 7–8 cm long and about 20 g, that fits into any glass or steel bottle. Can be engraved with a name or logo.
Your design, your brand
We can engrave your logo, make your own pattern, or produce private-label packaging. Order quantities are set for small and mid-sized shops.
Sourced at the source
Meditation goods, direct from the workshops
We are 3 km from McLeod Ganj's Tibetan-goods trade and an overnight journey from Kathmandu. We buy from the people who make these things, and we inspect them before they ship.

Who we are
Rooted in the Himalaya
Himalaya Articles is a small export house in Dharamkot, above McLeod Ganj, run by its founder Jyoti Kakkar.
Jyoti grew up in the Himalaya: first in Kalga in the Parvati Valley, and in Dharamkot since 2011. Her family runs Big Mama Café in Dharamkot, which has welcomed travellers from all over the world for years. Many of those friendships became working relationships, and that is how Himalaya Articles began: shop owners abroad asking for help finding good Indian and Himalayan goods they could trust.
Today we design and supply our own pure-copper drinkware, and source traditional wellness and meditation goods directly from the artisan clusters that make them.
“We work with the people who actually make these things, and we check everything before it leaves India.”Jyoti Kakkar, founder
